We are looking to appoint a Director of Music to lead our choir for Sunday Eucharists and Evensong and for occasional other services. We are a growing church with a heart for social justice and inclusion.

At St John's, we believe that all Christians have a role in bringing the love and grace of God to our world. We also believe that all Christians have a role in the life of the church both at times of worship and at other times.

Some people are good at caring for the building through cleaning and maintenance. Others may have skills in flower arranging, the provision of refreshments or in welcoming visitors. Some people are willing to work outside in the City Centre or on other projects. If you feel that God may be calling you to be involved at St John's please do get in touch.

A good way to see what St John's is like is to start coming to some services and/or attend a group. You'll find us friendly, inclusive and open. We have lots of things we'd like to do in the years ahead and we'd love you to be part of that. At the moment there are around 55 people in our main Sunday Communion Service at 10am. We'd like to grow our numbers so that we can increase the amount of God's love we can share and work we can do in the world.
